Our great friends at Frampton Books (www.framptonbooks.com) have given us some of their fabulous books to giveaway here on the station.
This could be a great addition to the Christmas table of quizzing the family about the local area and completing crosswords, etc as you recover from your Christmas dinner... but equally great entertainment all year round and learning about the local area, to make plans in the New Year to visit.
Nick Frampton, the author of The County Puzzle Books, knows this area of the country having grown up in Devon and family in Dorset and Somerset. He says: "I've always loves exploring the West Country, discovering unusual place names, visiting beautiful locations and exploring local myths and legends."
He continues: "Working on these books has been a lovely way to share this passion, and it has been great fun hearing from readers who have discovered new places or learned new facts from them."
The County Puzzle Books are a series of fun activity books for adults, and each book has a selection of puzzles from crosswords, word searches, picture puzzles, anagrams, and so much more.
The Dorset edition is the latest book release from October this year, and has already been a regular in the Amazon Literary Travel bestsellers chart and has topped this chart too!
The books are available from Amazon and with Christmas round the corner, what a great stocking filler or secret Santa gift, or just a little treat for yourself. You can find out more at www.framptonbooks.com .
